On 31 July 2019, ASEAN Foreign Ministers paid a courtesy call on H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha (Ret.), Prime Minister of Thailand, on the occasion of attending the 52nd ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM)/ Post Ministerial Conferences (PMCs) in Bangkok. ASEAN Foreign Ministers congratulated H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha (Ret.) on his re-appointment as Prime Minister of Thailand. The Ministers also congratulated Thailand’s success in implementing its Chairmanship theme “Advancing Partnership for Sustainability.” The Prime Minister encouraged ASEAN to collaborate with G20 countries in various sectors, such as financial inclusion, the development of a Digital and Green ASEAN, seamless connectivity, Smart Cities Network, the preservation of marine resources and in combatting marine debris.
