On 16 June 2019, H.E. Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Ambassador of Thailand to the Maldives, presided over an opening ceremony of the new office of the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate in Malé, headed by Mr. Ahmed Ali Manik, who succeeded Mr. Mohamed Salih as Honorary Consul of Thailand in Malé on 10 June 2019.

         The new Honorary Consulate office is relocated to H. Nareen, 2^nd floor, Majeedhee Magu, Male 20042, Maldives, and has responsibility for looking after and providing assistance to Thai people, who experience difficulties or seek advice while residing in the Maldives.
