On 14 May 2019, Ms. Sweeya Santipitaks, Consul-General of Thailand in Kolkata, delivered an opening speech at Thailand - India Business Matching and Networking at Crystal Room, Taj Bengal Hotel, Kolkata. The event was organized by the Office of the Commercial Affairs (Thai Trade Center) in New Delhi, in collaboration with Bengal National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BNCCI).

 

Mr. Tharadol Thongruang, Director of the Commercial Affairs Office, New Delhi, led a team of 12 leading Thai companies to find business partners in West Bengal, Siliguri, and New Delhi. The Thai companies ranged from a wide variety of products from agricultural products, food, textile, garments & fashion accessories, footwear, furniture and household products & home décor.
