On 16 February, 2019 H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland attended the funeral of Mr. Jan Olszewski, former Prime Minister of Poland. The funeral was held at St. John's Archcathedral Church in the Old Town, Warsaw. H.E. Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife presided over the funeral. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the cabinet and invited guests together with the people attended this official State Funeral in the church. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland also invited foreign Ambassadors seated in Warsaw to attend the State Funeral. Earlier, the Polish Prime Minister's Office had opened a condolence book which Mrs. Sansanee Sahasasarangsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland, paid respects and signed the condolence book on 12 February 2019. Many people came to pay their respects outside the Church and followed the funeral procession to the cemetery as well. Although Mr. Olszewski was the Prime Minister of Poland for a short period but he has done many good deeds and being loved and respected by many Polish people.
