On 25 February 2019, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand hosted a Diplomatic Luncheon with the Honourable Baron Jacques Brotchi, President of the Belgian Senate at the Ambassador’s residence. The luncheon was also honoured by the presence of H.E. Ambassador Thomas Antoine, Secretary General of the Union of Benelux as special guest, and bilateral Ambassadors from ASEAN, Europe, Africa, Latin America, Middle East, East Asia and South Asian regions. The luncheon provided the opportunity for guests to exchange views in an informal manner in such areas as ASEAN priorities under Thailand’s Chairmanship this year, the upcoming elections in Belgium and the EU and the role and activities of the Union of Benelux as well as its priorities this year, under the presidency of Luxembourg.
