Thailand deems the Second Summit between leaders of the US and the DPRK, held in Hanoi on 27 – 28 February 2019, a positive step in resolving the situation in the Korean Peninsula.

We encourage the two sides to remain closely engaged in their dialogue and hope that a fully verified denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula can be achieved in due course. Thailand stands ready to provide support in this continuing effort.

We praise Vietnam for hosting this US – DPRK Summit.
