The launching of Anti-Corruption Programme at the Malaysia-Thailand Border

          On 21 February 2019, Mr. Mongkol Sinsomboon, the Consul-General along with the Consulate’s staff, Mr. Natthaphol Sonjaroon, attended the opening ceremony of the
Anti-Corruption Programme at the Malaysia-Thailand border. The opening ceremony took place at the Pengkalan Kubor Immigration and Custom checkpoint (ICQS), the State of Kelantan, Malaysia; presided by YB Ustaz Wan Roslan Bin Hamat, the representative of
          Chief Minister of the State of Kelantan. Representatives from both Malaysian and Thai border agencies, media, and the public also attended the event.
The Anti-Corruption Programme at the Malaysia-Thailand Border was initiated to strengthen the cooperation among the Malaysia-Thailand border relevant agencies regarding immigration and customs clearances. Additionally, the citizens from both countries are encouraged to reject any corruptions involving immigration and customs clearances.
