On 21 February 2019, Ambassador Pornpop Uampidhaya presided over the“Amazing Thailand Roadshow to Pakistan 2019” at Kekashan Room, Serena Hotel Islamabad.
              The delegation from Thailand which was led by Mr. Klissada Ratanapruk, Executive Director ASEAN, South Asia and South Pacific Region, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT),  comprised  4 official representatives of 3 tour operators, 2 hotels and resorts, 1 hospital and Thai Airways International,  who were present to provide information on  Thailand’s tourism products and services  to interested Pakistani
tourism business operators and media. The event aimed at  positioning Thailand as a preferred destination that offers good quality products and services through the 3 News marketing direction which will be reflected in the new communication campaign called “Open to the New Shades of Amazing Thailand,” emphasizing: New Destinations, New Segmentations, and New Products.  The event ended with a B to B session between the sellers from Thailand and buyers that included the travel agents, tour operators and wedding planners.
