      On 25 September 2018, H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, had a meeting with H.E. Dr. Aung Tun Thet, Chief Coordinator, Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance, Resettlement and Development in Rakhine (UEHRD) and H.E. U Nyi Pu, Chief Minister of Rakhine State, together with minister-level representatives from Rakhine State, Kayin State, Kayah State and Tanintharyi Region of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, during the visit to Thailand as guests of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to study development projects related to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy during 25 - 28 September 2018. 
 
      Both sides discussed issues of development cooperation based on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to raise living standard of people in rural areas, especially in Rakhine State and other three states/region along Thai-Myanmar border. They also discussed government-to-government, business-to-business, and people-to-people cooperation of both sides, as well as supporting Thai private sector’s investment in Rakhine State. The Minister of Foreign Affairs also hosted a dinner in honour of the delegation. 
 
      During the visit to Thailand, the Myanmar delegation will be briefed, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and sustainable development, and Royal Development Study Centers in Thailand. They will also pay a study visit to Khlong 6 Community Occupational Learning Center; Agricultural Technology Transfer and Service Center of Cha-am Sub-District, Phetchaburi Province; Sufficiency Economy Learning Center of the 16th Military Circle, Ratchaburi Province; and Khao Cha-Ngoom Royal Soil Remediation Study Center, Ratchaburi Province.
