          On Thursday 13 September 2018, the Anti-Corruption Center (ACC) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a special lecture on “Talent, Kindness and Morality lead to Country’s Development” by Dr. Danai Janjaochai from 14:40 – 16:00 hrs. at Naratip auditorium, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Around 90 representatives from other Ministries’ ACC and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the special lecture.

          Dr. Danai Janjaochai stressed that people and national consciousness are important factors in country’s development. Those who can lead to nation’s development consist of 3 groups : Leaders who can inspire and be a role model, Leaders who have ethical courage, able to indicate the righteousness and Leaders who take initiative to volunteer.

          The first National Moral Promotion Master Plan was inspired by His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej which lead to the definition of 4 moral principles as follows:

  1. Sufficiency – the middle path, moderation, no exploitation, no excessive risk, cautious thinking, immunity, risk management, act reasonably.
  2. Discipline – accountable for each one’s duties, having professional ethics.
  3. Trustworthy – Honesty, Truthfulness, opposing corruption.
  4. Take initiative to volunteer – compassion, empathy, sympathy, which are the

strength of Thai people.
