On 3 July 2018, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of Thailand, as the Chair of ASEAN Committee in Warsaw (ACW), hosted an ACW Afternoon Tea Meeting at the Residence of the Ambassador of Thailand to hand over ACW’s chairmanship to H.E. Mr. Vu Dang Dung, Ambassador of Vietnam to Poland. Attended were also H.E. Mrs. Patricia Ann Villar Paez, Ambassador of the Philippines, H.E. Mrs. Chitra Devi Ramiah, Ambassador of Malaysia, Mr. Hubertus Djatmiko Witjaksono, Minister Counselor/Representative of Ambassador of Indonesia, and the officials in ACW Working Group.  Having treated as a chairmanship’s handover meeting, the discussion focused on the reviews of activities and work done during Thailand’s chairmanship such as ASEAN participation in SHOM Charity Bazaar 2017 on 3 December 2017, joint courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland by 10 ASEAN Ambassadors/Heads of Mission to Poland on 14 March 2018 and ASEAN seminar session at the 10^th European Economic Congress (EEC) on 15 May 2018. Besides, they exchanged views on a work plan and activities during the chairmanship of Vietnam in order to promote and maintain the visibility of ASEAN in Poland.  ACW’s chairmanship shall rotate every 6 months, based on the alphabetical order of the member country’s name.
