On June 25, 2018, the Consulate General attended a training on Community Planning held at Hollyview building in Thai Town. It was held by the Los Angeles Department of City Planning, the Thai Community Development Center, and ACT LA. There were about 30 people from the Thai Community who attended the event, including members of the Thai Town Council.

          The presentation aimed at enhancing awareness and participation of the Thai community in updating the Hollywood Community Plan. Opinions and ideas from citizens will help improve the plan and will affect the development of Thai Town.
