Acting Consul-General of Thailand in Penang called on Penang Executive Councillor for Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture and Art

           On Monday 4th June 2018, Mr. Sukoom  Somprasonk, Acting Consul-General of Thailand in Penang, called on YB Yeoh Soon Hin, Penang Executive Councillor (Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture and Art) to discuss about “Thai Festival” project which has been well supported by Penang State Government every year in the past. The Acting Consul-General was accompanied by Mr. Piyapan Atipatya, Consul, Miss Kwankamol Sastraruji, a public sector development officer from the Public Service Executive Development Program (PSED) 11th Gen., and Miss Wanida Senguan, a staff member of the Royal Thai Consulate-General.

          In this regard, YB Yeoh Soon Hin expressed his enthusiasm and willingness to help the Royal Thai Consulate-General in organising the “Thai Festival” which is in line with the State Government’s policy on promoting multi-cultural activities and tourism.

           Besides, Mr. Sukoom congratulated YB Yeoh on his appointment as the new Executive Councillor for Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture and Art of the new State Government of Penang.
