His Excellency Mr. Jean Asselborn, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, will be visiting Thailand as Guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during 13 – 14 June 2018.

Minister Asselborn is scheduled to meet with H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand. Both Ministers will discuss issues of common interest, such as the strengthening of bilateral political and economic cooperation, expansion of trade and investment, especially in the areas which would contribute to the Thailand 4.0 policy and the development of the Eastern Economic Corridors (EEC), cooperation on Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), especially in FinTech cooperation, Thai – EU relations and other regional issues.

The visit of Foreign Minister Asselborn is timely as next year will mark the 60^th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Luxembourg. Both sides will also discuss the possible activities to commemorate this important milestone.
