On Saturday 21 April 2018 between 12.00 – 18.00 hrs. at the Residence of the Thai Ambassador in Buenos Aires, the Royal Thai Embassy together with the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Embassy of Malaysia, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, and the Embassy of the Philippines hosted the ASEAN Bazaar promoting ASEAN culture and culinary in order to increase awareness of ASEAN to the Argentine public, as well as create unity among the ASEAN communities in Argentina.

          The ASEAN Bazaar was opened by Ambassador Guillermo Daniel Raimondi, Deputy Foreign Minister of Argentina, and his wife. The Bazaar featured more than 20 booths from 5 countries of food and handicrafts. Thailand presented a variety of traditional dishes as well as the art of traditional Thai massage and Thai boxing, which were very well received by the Argentine public and the diplomatic community in Buenos Aires. More than 2,000 people attended the event, including diplomatic families from 25 countries.
