Thailand fully supports the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)’s statement condemning the missile attacks by the Houthi rebels targeting several cities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 25 March 2018, hereby endangering civilian areas and resulting in at least one fatality and a number of people injured. 

          Thailand extends our deep sympathy and condolences to the victims and their families and expresses our genuine concern over the ongoing humanitarian situation in Yemen. Thailand also urges all the parties to seek a peaceful solution through diplomatic means by returning to the negotiations, at the earliest opportunity, to end the current conflicts and forge lasting peace in the area.
