On 7 March 2018, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Poland paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Tadeusz Koscinski, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, on the occasion of her assumption of duty. They discussed and exchanged views on the economic and development policies and potentials of the two countries which complement and contribute to more strengthened economic ties. In addition, due to the fact that Poland and Thailand are food and agricultural-based economy and share in common in terms of geographical location as a gateway to each other’s region, there are still a lot of potentials to increase bilateral trade and investment between the two countries. Ambassador Sahussarungsi also gave some information on the policy of Thailand 4.0 and 10 targeted industries, as well as the development of Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) project, which aim to attract foreign investment and correspond to the current Polish policy to expand overseas markets to ASEAN region under the campaign “GO ASEAN”.
