Following H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping’s endorsement as President of the People’s Republic of China, and H.E. Mr. Li Keqiang’s endorsement as Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China for the second term by the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I have the honour to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency on your second-term election as President of the People’s Republic of China. The historic unanimous vote for your position at the National’s People Congress clearly reflects categorical trust and confidence in your able leadership. 

 

I am confident that under your visionary and effective leadership, the People’s Republic of China will continue to prosper and become an “all rounded well-off society,” and successfully build   a great modern socialist country with Chinese characteristics guided by your great wisdom and innovation.

 

I wish to reaffirm Thailand’s firm commitment to fulfilling our role as an active partner to enhance our comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China. I strongly hope that our two countries will work even more closely together to further strengthen this partnership to its full potential as well as to advance peace and development in the region and the international community.
