On 14 March 2018, ACM PrajinJuntong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice held a bilateral meeting with Dr. Margarete Schramboeck, Federal Minister of Digital and Economics of the Republic of Austria. Thailand and Austria enjoy strong economic relations with more than 100 Austrian companies currently investing in Thailand. However, both sides agreed to further explore ways and means of increasing trade and investment. Both sides discussed the importance of human resource development and the possibility of setting an MOU on Dual Vocational Education between Thailand and Austria. In addition, both sides agreed to revive the Working Group on Economics and Digital as well as discussed ways of enhancing cooperation in digitalization, E-Government and R&D which Austria would like to share Austrian’s experience and expertise.
