Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and School of Hospital Management, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University jointly organized the training course on “Hospital Management and Administration” during 22 January – 2 February 2018 for 16 participants from 7 African countries at Ramathibodi Hospital, Bangkok.
This training course’s objectives are to (1) enhance administrative knowledge and modern hospital management so that the participant can apply leadership capabilities to lead healthcare teams and projects to success (2) exchange experiences and management knowledge as well as strengthen the relationship and network between Thai and African hospitals and (3) promote collaboration between Thai and African hospitals that will contribute to the achievement of Goal 3 “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages” of the United Nation’s Sustainable development Goals (SDGs).
TICA, as the focal point of Thailand’s international technical cooperation, have played active roles to enhance capacity building for African Countries via several training courses, sharing Thailand’s best practice and experience.
