On 26 October 2017, 05.17 hrs., His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Count of Monpezat, arrived in Thailand to attend the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

          His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Count of Monpezat, was received at Suvarnabhumi International Airport by General Kampanat Ruddit, Privy Councilor, as representative of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, and Air Chief Marshal Prachin Chantong, Deputy Prime Minister, as representative of the Royal Thai Government.
