On 26 October 2017, 08.00 hrs., H.E. Mr. Bounnhang Vorachith, President of Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Mrs. Khamueng Vorachith, Spouse, arrived in Thailand to attend the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

H.E. Mr. Bounnhang Vorachith and Mrs. Khamueng Vorachith were received at Military Air Terminal 2, Wing 6 by Mr. Wirach Chinvinitkul, Privy Councilor, as representative of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, and Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs, as representative of the Royal Thai Government.
