On 26 October 2017, 04.30 hrs., His Imperial Highness Prince Akishino and Her Imperial Highness Princess Akishino arrived in Thailand to attend the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

          His Imperial Highness Prince Akishino and Her Imperial Highness Princess Akishino were received at Suvarnabhumi International Airport by Mr. Charunthada Karnasuta, Privy Councilor, as representative of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, and General Surachet Chaiwong, Deputy Minister of Education, as representative of the Royal Thai Government.
