On 25 October 2017, 16.00 hrs., H.E. U Htin Kyaw, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and Daw Su Su Lwin, Spouse, arrived in Thailand to attend the Royal Cremation Ceremony of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

H.E. U Htin Kyaw and Daw Su Su Lwin were received at Military Air Terminal 2, Wing 6 by General Paiboon Koomchaya, Privy Councilor, as representative of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, and Mrs. Atchaka Sibunruang, Minister of Science and Technology, as representative of the Royal Thai Government.
