The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, and Japan Foundation will organize the “130 Years of Thailand – Japan Friendship” Exhibition on the occasion of 130 Years of Thailand – Japan diplomatic relations on 26 September 2017. The exhibition will be open to the public during 27 September – 8 October 2017 from 10.00 – 19.00 hrs. (closed every Monday) at the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, Ratchadamnoen Avenue.

 

The exhibition will showcase historical moments in Thailand – Japan relations that may not be widely known including the monarchy, the very roots of Thailand – Japan relations. The exhibition will also feature cooperation between the Thai and Japanese government on politics, economics, and people-to-people exchanges in food, animation, music, films, soap operas, sports, arts and other areas. Along with pictures, videos, and narrations, there will also be a section for visitors to take pictures as souvenirs, as well as to participate in other activities.
