The Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon and  the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM) will organize a  seminar: “Myanmar Insight 2017.”  on 22 September 2017 at 08.00 -17.30 hrs. at Sofitel Grand Sukumvit Hotel. The purpose of this seminar is to provide in-depth information, laws, and elements to success in doing business in Myanmar by experienced speakers, who have successfully established a business in Myanmar.  The intention is also to create a strong business community, and assist Thai businesses in Myanmar, especially on sharing information so that  those intending to invest in Myanmar will get a the macro- economic view of the country.

Four major topics that will be covered are  (1) how to promote trade and investment in Myanmar  by sharing the government’s policies by both the government representatives from Thailand and Myanmar; (2) how a large conglomerate developed its business in Myanmar  and how the large conglomerate can lead smaller businesses into Myanmar; (3) share the ingredient of success and all the obstacles that could occur during business operations, how companies should be aware of all the risk factors in developing a business, and how to overcome those risks and obstacles; and (4) share the support from the Royal Thai Government and the Thai Business Association of Myanmar for Thai businesses, either in the developing stage, or survey stage to evaluate the potential to develop a business in Myanmar.
