Following the explosion at Manchester Arena, Manchester, on 22 May 2017, General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand and Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, have sent messages of condolences to their counterparts as follows:
1. Condolence Message from General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand to Her Excellency Ms. Theresa May, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
“Excellency,
I have learnt with deep sorrow of the terrible explosion that occurred in Manchester on 22 May 2017 which resulted in many casualties.
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to Your Excellency and, through you, to the victims and families affected by this dreadful event. In these hours of anguish, our thoughts and prayers are with the British people.
Thailand, as a friend of the United Kingdom, condemns this heinous act of violence and affirms her commitment to cooperate with the United Kingdom and the international community to fight terrorism in all its forms.
Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.

I am profoundly shocked and saddened to learn of the deadly incident at the Manchester Arena in Manchester on 22 May 2017, resulting in the loss of innocent lives and many injuries.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Your Excellency and the British people, and especially to all members of the bereaved families. In condemning this atrocious act, Thailand, as a friend of the United Kingdom, affirms her resolve to cooperate with the United Kingdom and the international community in the fight against violence and terrorism.
