H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates during 11 – 13 December 2016, upon the invitation of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.

The visit follows the 1^st Joint Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation between Thailand and the UAE, which was hosted by the Thai side during 11-12 May 2016, and co-chaired by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of both sides. On this occasion, Thailand and UAE will review current cooperation and discuss ways and means to further enhance cooperation in various fields such as trade and investment, energy, development cooperation, tourism and medical tourism, agriculture, and food security as well as exchange views on the current situation in the regions. Cooperation between both sides in multilateral framework in light of the recent 1^st JC will also be discussed.
