On 3 October 2016, Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Consul General of Thailand in Mumbai, met with President, Managing Committee and members of the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) to discuss on ways to increase trade and investment between Thailand and Gujarat . Both sides agreed to encourage cooperation between private sectors, especially in renewable energy, textile, pharmaceutical, auto parts, and SMEs as well as business activities under the existed MoU between GCCI and Thai Chamber of Commerce.
