                   On 15 September 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the 6th MFA CEO Forum, with Mr. William Heinecke, Chairman and Group CEO of Minor International PCL (MINT) as the Guest CEO. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs opened the Forum which met with enthusiastic participation of Ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps from over 20 countries.  

                   “MINT” is one of the leading Thai company with outstanding presence in the Asia-Pacific region in terms of the hospitality and leisure businesses, and Mr. Heinecke presented a portfolio of enterprises that grew to more than 145 properties and over 1,800 restaurants across the globe, and MINT’s role in advancing Thailand’s economy. The core businesses ranging from restaurants, hospitality and life style brands distribution are strategically integrated into the global economy and have heightened the company’s visibility in the international arena. Moreover, Mr. Heinecke highlighted the importance of sustainable development as the foundation for future business growth.

                   Initiated by Permanent Secretary Apichart Chinwanno, the MFA CEO Forum continues to be held successfully for the 6th time as a new platform for Ambassadors and the diplomatic corps to learn more about Thailand’s economic potential from the leading Thai private sector’s perspective as well as explore the possibility of business cooperation between Thailand and foreign countries.
