Thailand shares grave concern over the latest nuclear test carried out by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in the morning of 9^th September 2016. Such a test constituted a clear provocative violation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.

          In view of the existing relationship between the two countries, the Royal Thai Government once again urges the Government of the DPRK to heed concerns of the international community, to comply with its obligations under various UNSC resolutions and to cooperate fully and promptly with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) regarding its nuclear programme.
