On 27 August 2016 Consul-General Dusit Manapan hosted lunch to welcome 5 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and a teacher as well as Mr. Shigeyo Kimura, Chirman of Japan Thailand Education Exchange Society, who paid a courtesy call on the Consul-General at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Osaka. 

            The Young Ambassadors of Virtue visit Kansai region of Japan during 26 August – 4 September 2016 under “Young Ambassadors of Virtue’s Visit to Kansai” Project, co-organised by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Osaka and Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, with generous support of Thai AirAsia X. 

             The Project’s main objective is to promote good understanding between Thailand and Japan, especially at youth level, and to provide an opportunity for outstanding and gifted Thai primary school students to visit Kansai region of Japan to broaden their perspectives. The Young Ambassadors of Virtue will participate in a variety of activities including visit to Japanese schools, cultural exchange activities, study trips to historical and important places in Kansai and home stay with Japanese families.
