On 11 August 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy in Mexico City hosted a reception to Celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary 12th August 2016, at the Royal Thai Embassy. Over 150 guests attended the reception, including Ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, the Thai community in Mexico, representatives of the Mexican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, various governmental agencies, educational institutions, and the private sector. 

            H.E. Mr. Surasak Chuasukonthip, Ambassador of Thailand to Mexico, made a remark and toasted Her Majesty the Queen, emphasizing the works that Her Majesty had done which preserved the traditions of Thailand and resulted in the betterment of the livelihood of the Her people.

             An exhibition of handicrafts and textiles was arranged at the Embassy on the occasion, as an example of products generated by traditional skills preserved by the initiatives of Her Majesty the Queen of Thailand.
