On 10 August 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented a Royal Khon performance on  "The Battle of Mangkornkan" to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty the Queen on 12 August 2016 at Vithes Samosorn. The event was attended by over 300 members from the diplomatic corps and distinguished guests.
