On 31 July 2016 the Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon held a merit making ceremony to pay tribute to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn on the auspicious occasion of HRH the Crown Prince of Thailand 64th Birthday anniversary at Sumedharama Theravada Buddhist Monastery in Ericeira, Portugal. Members of Thai community in Portugal also joined the ceremony by offering meal to Ven. Ajahn Vajiro, Abbot of the Monastery, and bhikkus residing at the Monastery.
