Following the incidence at Wurzburg Station on 18 July 2016 and the incidence in Munich on 22 July 2016 in Germany, H.E. General Prayut Chan-O-Cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand sent a message of condolences to H.E. Ms. Angela Merkel, Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, while H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, sent a message of condolences to H.E. Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, as follows:

Excellency,
I have learned with profound sadness the loss of lives and injuries caused by the cowardly acts at the Olympia-Einkaufzentrum and the Wurzburg station in the past few days.
On this sorrowful moment, I, on behalf of the Thai government and Thai people, would like to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Your Excellency, and through you, the bereaved families of those who were affected by the violent acts.
My thoughts and prayer are with the people of the Federal Republic of Germany during this very difficult period.
Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
