Following the tragic incident whereby a lorry slammed through a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in the City of Nice on the night of 14 July 2016 which resulted in a massive loss of innocent lives and injuries, the Royal Thai Government strongly condemns this horrific attack which wantonly destroyed and wounded many innocent lives, including a score of children.

          On behalf of the people of Thailand, the Royal Thai Government would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to the French Republic and its people in this hour of bereavement. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of  victims. Thailand reaffirms its readiness to join hands with France and the international community in the fight against the threats from such brutal act of terrorism.
