During 24 – 25 June 2016, H.E. Komate Kamalanavin, Ambassador of Thailand to the United Arab Emirates presided over a religious ceremony to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of His Majesty the King of Thailand’s accession to the Throne at the Royal Thai Embassy. The Thai Ambassador was joined by Mr. Unnop Buranasate, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai and representatives of Team Thailand together with Thai communities in the United Arab Emirates. 

           The Buddhist ceremony and pray whishing His Majesty the King’s long reign and happiness was led by Phrakruphawanthammaphinan, Abbot of Wat Na Luang Udon Thani Province, Thailand.

           The events at the Embassy included offering alms merit making to the monks, meditation practice, signing of the homage book. 

           Approximately 120 people joined the two-day auspicious event.
