On 4 July 2016 H.E. Krit Garnjana-Goonchorn, His Majesty's Principal Private Secretary, welcomed the arrival of the participants of the 4th Youth Volunteer Project for Learning Royal Initiatives at the Privy Council Chambers.  The project was initiated by the Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary to enable the youth to gain learning experiences on self-reliance as well as to learn the royal initiatives of Their Majesties the King and Queen through hands-on work with the villagers who have adopted Their Majesties’ approaches to their agricultural activities at the Puparn Study Centre, Sakon Nakhon province from 6 – 29 July 2016.  Through this learning experience, the participants are expected to be imbued with a sense of volunteering spirit to contribute to the development of the community.  This year a total of 51 participants has been selected from all regions across Thailand as well as from abroad.  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Royal Thai Embassies and Consulate-Generals worldwide, has selected foreign participants coming from various regions of the world including Australia, China, Russia, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland and the United States.
