During 19 – 20 June 2016, His Excellency Mr. Prak Sokhonn, Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia will pay an introductory visit to Thailand. This visit is His Excellency Mr. Prak Sokhonn’s first trip to Thailand as Foreign Minister at the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

          In the morning of 20 June 2016, His Excellency Mr. Prak Sokhonn will pay a courtesy call on His Excellency General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, at the Government House and will have a discussion with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The subject for discussion will focus on the overview of bilateral relations as well as the expedition of the on-going cooperation; such as, the opening and the upgrading of international points of entry, land maritime and railway connectivity, promotion of trade and investment, as well as cooperation on labour, agriculture, public health, and education.

          The discussion also aims to follow up on the result of the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Thailand and the 2^nd Thailand-Cambodia Joint Cabinet Retreat (JCR) held in Bangkok during 18-19 December 2015 as well as to pave the way for the upcoming 10^th Meeting of the Thailand-Cambodia Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JC) in Bangkok and the 3^rd Thailand – Cambodia JCR in Cambodia.
