On 13 June 2016, H.E. Mr. Mun Song Mo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Apichart Chinwanno, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

          On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on bilateral issues in light of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations last year. The Permanent Secretary expressed hope that the DPRK side would make use of its participation in the upcoming ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) in July to constructively engage with the international community in order to pave the way for the resumption of the Six Party Talks to resolve the conflict in the Korean Peninsula.
