On 11 June 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kathmandu organized the ceremony to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne 9th June 2016 at the Ambassador’s residence. The celebrations started with the religious ceremony led by Phra Sribodhivides, Royal Thai Monastery, Lumbini, followed by a well-wishing ceremony led by H.E. Mr. Vutti Vuttisant, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, together with the Embassy’s officials, representative from Thai Airways International Public Co., Ltd. in Kathmandu, and Thai community in Kathmandu. After the ceremony, the Embassy hosted lunch for the Thai community who joined the said ceremony.
