On 4 May 2016, H.E.Mr. Manopchai Vongpakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of  Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee on his first visit to Ho Chi  City.

           Both sides exchanged views on the potential cooperation on trade and investment between Thailand and Vietnam.  On this occasion, HE. Ambassador Vongpakdi expressed confidence that with the great potential of Vietnamese economy, it will attract more investments from Thailand to Vietnam.  In this regard, he extended the warm invitation to H.E. Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong to pay a visit Thailand in the near future.
