On 30 April 2016, the Royal Thai Embassy supported and took part in the AsianFest 2016, a local international food festival which was held for the first time in Prague. The AsianFest proudly presented a new concept of the food festival, which is not just aiming at presenting gastronomy but also highlighting the element of Asian outstanding culture in order to strengthen the fondness in Asian culinary art. Thus, to support this creative idea, the Embassy sponsored the Festival with Thai cultural performances which were welcomed warmly and cheerfully by a great number of Festival’s participants. The TAT Office in Prague also participated at the Festival to distribute information about Thai tourism.
