On 28 March 2016, Mr. Apichart Chinwanno, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Cyprien Sylvestre Mamina, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of the Congo.
On this occasion, both sides agreed to further strengthen relations between the two countries under bilateral and multilateral frameworks. With its determination to enhance South-South cooperation, Thailand as Chair of the Group of 77 (G-77) is ready to share the best practices in development with the Republic of the Congo, especially in the areas of agriculture, public health and the implementation of His Majesty the King’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as one of the models of sustainable development.
Thailand and the Republic of the Congo established their diplomatic relations on 25 August 1988.
