Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver Organized British Columbia Students’ Networking Meeting

            Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver, led by Ms. Sutthiluck Sa-ngarmangkang, Consul-General, organized a Networking Meeting of Thai Students in British Columbia at the ANZA Club on 28 February 2016 to promote unity among students. The session was participated by more than 60 students from both high school and university levels including University of British Columbia (UBC), Simon Fraser University (SFU), British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), Douglas College, and various institutions that taught English as a second language (ESL).
 
            On this occasion, the Royal Thai Consulate-General also organized a consultation session with successful former Thai students and a current Thai professor, who was studying a doctoral degree in British Columbia. Throughout the session, the panelists and participants cordially exchanged views, tactics, and studying tips for university life in Canada.
 
            In addition, the Royal Thai Consulate-General informed the participants on its various activities and projects as well as advised them on related consular services such as passport and national identification card, legalization, and a request for temporary suspension of military services.
 
            All participants expressed their appreciation to the Royal Thai Consulate-General for the organization of the meeting for the first time during which they actively exchanged views and information as well as created network among themselves and with the Consulate-General.
