Statement on the bomb explosions in Brussels on 22 March 2016

On the morning of 22 March 2016, two explosions were detonated at Zaventern airport and another explosion struck at Maelbeek metro station in Brussels, which resulted in a large number of deaths and injuries.
The Royal Thai Government strongly condemns the deplorable terrorist attacks which resulted in the loss of innocent lives as well as those who were injured in this horrific event. Thailand extends her deepest sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families of those who were affected by this tragic incident.
The thoughts and prayers of the Thai people are with the victims, their families and the people of Belgium in this hour of tragedy and loss.
Thailand joins hands with the Belgian Government and the international community in the fight against the threats from this heinous and inhumane acts of terrorism.
