On 1 March 2016 H.E. Mr. Apichart Chinwanno, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Mr. Songsak Saicheua, Director General, Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Thai Consul – General in Sydney, and the Thai delegation attended the 13th Thailand – Australia Senior Officials’ Talk (SOT) in Canberra with Mr. Peter Varghese AO, Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade. During the visit, the delegation also met with Mr. Dennis Richardson, Secretary of Defence of Australia and Ms. Glenys Beauchamp, Secretary of Industry, Innovation and Science of Australia and paid visit to the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
