H.E. Dr. Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine, will pay a working visit   to Thailand as guest of the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand during 19 -20 February 2016.

On 19 February 2016, the Prime Minister and the President of the State of Palestine will discuss bilateral issues aiming at strengthening relations and expanding cooperation between Thailand and Palestine including the economic, social and developmental areas.

After recognising the State of Palestine on 24 November 2011, Thailand established diplomatic relations with Palestine on 1 August 2012.
