On 26 January 2016, H.E. Mrs. Rattikul Chansuriya, Ambassador of Thailand to Spain paid a courtesy call on Mr. Ignacio Ybanez Rubio, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on the occasion of her assumption of duty as new Ambassador of Thailand to Spain. Both sides  exchanged views on the promotion of cooperation between Thailand and Spain , especially  in the areas of  trade and investment and  ASEAN-EU relations.
